We have established the Mental Health Market Harborough Peer Support Group to provide opportunities for people who experience mental health to come together to give and receive peer support, sharing our own personal experiences with other facing similar challenges. The group is entirely peer led, run by volunteers, whom have their own personal experiences of mental illness. The group is open to any who identify as having a mental health issue (including those who self-identify and don’t have a formal diagnosis). The group is currently meeting on Zoom on the third Wednesday of each month, and we hope to start face to face meeting in the coming months. The group was established by Rotaract Market Harborough and is supported by Rethink Mental Illness.

We are a peer-led support group for the carers, family members and friends of people with lived experience of mental illness. We also welcome people living with mental illness who wish to attend, as both sets of people share similar issues. Every month, we try to arrange for a guest speaker to talk to the group about their specialist area but always leave time for people to share concerns and receive support.

We are a relaxed and fun art and crafts women's group who meet every Friday at Bude Methodist Church Hall for a good measure of peer support amongst our paint, pens and brushes. Our members all have lived experience of mental illness, and we are here to listen and share experiences in a relaxed and compassionate atmosphere. We also occasionally organise lunches and invite speakers. Please call for an informal chat beforehand or meet up to hear more about us and our activities. We would love to hear from you. No experience of art and crafts necessary. Our activities are for all levels.
