Our 24/7, Under 18s Sheffield Telephone Helpline offers emotional support and information to under 18 who live in Sheffield or are under the care of Sheffield Childrens NHS Trust.

When you call the helpline you will be listened to, treated with dignity and respect, supported to develop coping skills and, if useful, signposted to helpful sources of information and to other services in your area who can help you on your road to recovery. You'll speak to a friendly voice, who is there to listen. We will ask a few questions about you, so we can help to support you in the best way possible.

We aim to answer your call within 3 rings, if we are busy, please do try again.

If English is not your first language we can arrange to speak to you in your own language through an interpreter.

Calls to our number are free from landlines and mobile phones. Our number will not show on your bill.

To ensure you are kept safe, if we think you or others are in danger, then we may have to tell someone about what you share with us.

You can give us anonymous feedback about our service by clicking on the following link and selecting 'Yorkshire and North East' and then 'Sheffield Younger Persons Helpline'. It takes less than 2 minutes by clicking here
