Register to vote
To vote in the general election you must register on Gov.uk. It only takes five minutes and you can do it online. You will need your National Insurance Number.

Don't forget your photo ID
You will need photo ID when voting in person this general election. Accepted photo ID includes a UK passport, a UK or Northern Ireland photocard driving license, a Blue Badge.
