Supportive Conversations in the Workplace

1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime - that is why opening up about our wellbeing in the workplace is important. Our training package helps employers and employees open up about their experiences and explore ways that everyone can feel confident talking about mental health at work.

Who is it for?

This session is for anyone within your organisation who wants to feel confident having a conversation with a colleague or direct report about their mental health.

How long is the session?

Can be between 45-90 minutes long depending on your needs.

What will I learn?

We will cover

  • barriers to opening up
  • things to avoid and things to actively do during a disclosure/supportive conversation
  • a framework to guide employees through a supportive conversation
  • where to signpost colleagues to in an emergency and non-emergency
  • the importance of an intention to promote positive culture in relation to mental health in the workplace.
