Nursing and residential care
We provide support to six people, over 24 hours a day, seven days a week with varying degrees of support. All our residents work towards outcomes based on the recovery star. Service users link in with the community as well as our own support staff to encourage an inclusion-type approach towards recovery. We also maintain good communication links with other professionals involved within the care plan to provide a holistic support approach for each individual service user. The building is two semi-detached properties joined together. Unfortunately, It is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

Derwent Lodge is a 16-bed single-level building for male and female clients. It provides a welcoming, clean and comfortable environment with facilities that support recovery and increasing independence. Residents have own bedroom with en-suite wet room. There are communal kitchens, bathrooms with baths & various living and dining areas. There is a home kitchen and laundry, but people are supported to use the independent facilities as much as they are able. Every room has a ‘nurse call button’ and there are call points throughout the home. We encourage people to make their rooms their own with personal items and choices about décor. Derwent Lodge is close to the centre of Derby in the residential area of Chaddesden. There are small local shops a short walk away and numerous buses into the city center, providing ready access to the beautiful towns and countryside of Derbyshire and the Peak District. There are also bus services to Chaddesden centre with its shops, pubs and large park. Rated Good By CQC
