At the Durham CtW IPS Employment service we support individuals with disabilities, physical and mental health conditions and complex barriers to employment to gain or retain paid employment. We offer intensive and tailored 1:1 support for individuals who are unemployed, or in work but struggling to maintain their employment, engaging closely with local employers to find job roles based on your preferences. Participation in the service is voluntary and you can decide what information we share with current or potential employers that may help to tailor roles to fit your needs and abilities. We follow the Individual Placement and Support model and can offer up to 12 months support for individuals who are unemployed to gain and retain paid employment and up to 4 months support for individuals who are employed to retain employment where they may be struggling to do so due to their personal circumstances.
