Many people living with severe mental illness have experienced harmful challenges within our social security system, with devastating consequences. Our 'Set Up To Fail' report looks at the ways the social security system frequently fails to address the complexities of severe mental illness and proposes changes put forward by people with lived experience. 

Carers Week Report 2025

It is 60 years since the carers’ movement officially began with the establishment of Carers UK. While there is greater awareness of unpaid carers and they now have rights and entitlements across employment, care, finances and health services, much more needs to be done to bring about equality for carers.
