Often the person you are supporting is a family member such as a partner, wife, husband, son, daughter or a friend. Whether or not you think you are a ‘carer’, support is available. We help over 200 people a year across Bristol who are looking for advice, support or information.

When you contact us, you can expect an initial phonecall with a member of staff specialised in understanding the complexities of caring for someone with a mental illness. We respond to your individual needs, are experienced in working with people from different communities and backgrounds, and can book an interpreter. We provide individual support, group support, carers assessments & breaks, workshops & social events, advice, signposting, as well as liaison with mental health professionals and services. Download our service leaflet

Coming up: A social walk in central Bristol on 12th March at 4pm. Two workshops in April and May: Exploring psychiatric hospital admissions. Also, a new carers support group starts on 2nd April and there is a social event for families connected to secure services on 12th March at 1pm - ask us for details.
