How to apply for a job at Rethink Mental Illness
We're delighted you're interested in joining Rethink Mental Illness.
We know applying for a new job can feel daunting. Our aim is to make our recruitment process as fair, accessible and inclusive as possible so everyone has the opportunity to show us their skills and potential.
Once you've found a role you'd like to apply for on our Latest Vacancies page, here's what you can expect:
1. Complete your application
Complete our online application form by providing your contact details and answering a few questions about your skills, experience and suitability for the role.
2. We'll review your application
Our hiring team will carefully review all applications. We'll let you know whether you've been shortlisted for an interview or if you've been unsuccessful on this occasion.
3. If you're invited to interview
We'll contact you with everything you need to know, including:
- Whether your interview will take place online or in person.
- The date and time of your interview (or, for some roles, you'll be able to choose a suitable interview slot).
- Information about the interview process so you know what to expect.
If you need any reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process, we're here to help. We welcome requests for reasonable adjustments and encourage you to let us know what support you need. We'll work with you to make the recruitment process as accessible as possible.
4. Interview outcome
Once interviews have been completed, we'll contact you to let you know the outcome. If you would like feedback following your interview, you're welcome to request this.
5. If you're offered a role
If you accept an offer to join us, our Onboarding Team will guide you through the next steps, including pre-employment checks and everything you need to get ready for your first day.
Need any support?
We want everyone to have the opportunity to do their best throughout our recruitment process. As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome requests for reasonable adjustments at any stage of your application.
If you need any support (whether that’s as a candidate completing your application or through to interview or onboarding into a new role), please let us know as early as possible and we'll work with you to provide appropriate adjustments wherever reasonably possible.
