This year’s theme is Building Communities That Care:
Exploring the Role of Relationships and Community in Mental Illness
Members’ Day is our biennial event for Rethink Mental Illness members and is free to attend as part of your membership.
We know that mental illness can be deeply personal, whether you’ve experienced it yourself or it has affected someone close to you. Being a member gives you a way to connect with people who may understand some of what you’ve been through.
Members’ Day brings that to life. It’s a chance to meet other members, hear their experiences, share what matters to you and spend a day with people brought together by Rethink Mental Illness.
If you’re not already a member, we’d love you to join us and come along to Members’ Day.
Once you’ve joined, you’ll receive information about how to register your place.

Panel Discussion: What Helps Us Feel Seen, Heard and That We Belong?
We’re also pleased to welcome Rethink Mental Illness ambassador Chris Hull, who’ll be joining us for our panel discussion alongside other experts by experience. Our panellists will draw on their own experiences of mental illness and/or caring for someone to explore the difference that relationships and communities can make. They’ll reflect on what has helped them feel seen and heard, what has given them a sense of belonging, and what can get in the way, including stigma, assumptions and the language we use.
