About us...
The Sanctuary Community Mental Health Service, provides goal based support for people aged 17+ in Walsall to manage their mental health.
We offer
- One-to-One targeted support
- SafeSpace Sessions
- Coffee & Cope Groups
- Perinatal Support
- Signposting Information
- Peer Support Groups
- Tailored Workshops
- Volunteering/Peer Support Opportunities.
We are mainly a 9am-5pm Monday-Friday service, although we can work in the evening/weekends if there is demand, so please check with staff.
How can I access the service?...
If you want to receive support from the service then you can either self refer or be referred by another professional or a family member or friend.

How can I volunteer for the service?...
We are always looking for new volunteers for the service. If you are interested then please get in contact with us.
We actively encourage volunteers with lived experience of mental illness to become volunteers
All volunteers will be asked to attend a short interview and we will need to obtain references and complete a DBS check as part of your volunteer application.
Volunteers will be offered regular group and 121 support and have an annual placement review meeting.
Volunteers will be offered suitable training and induction for their role.
