We provide a friendly, safe & supportive environment where you can meet others dealing with the challenges that caring for loved one with mental illness often brings. We give peer-to-peer support & suggest referrals to appropriate local agencies. We make sure every member has a voice & that their problems are listened to & resolved. Come along & join us for a cup of tea, a chat and a chance to make a real difference!
Dog Walking Group
We meet outside the Stanley Park Visitor Centre, or inside with our dogs if it's raining, in Stanley Park, West Park Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9HU, every Wednesday at 10.00am and walk until 11.30am. Joanne Fletcher and Max will welcome you and we will walk regardless of the weather.
After the walk we return to the Stanley Park Visitor Centre for refreshments and treats and water for the dogs. We aim to provide a supportive, non-judgemental, outdoor, interactive dog walking and talking activity for carers and people with mental health conditions, with or without a dog.
Referral is not necessary.
We meet at Grenfell House, 5 Grenfell Avenue, Layton, North Blackpool, FY3 7BP, on the first and third Monday of the month between 7pm - 9pm.
