Music appreciation & discussion group for wellbeing. The Chatham Music 4 Wellbeing Group is a peer led group & so we all share & empathise with the challenges associated with mental health & wellbeing.
Group aims are: Promote positive mental wellbeing, provide peer support & improve awareness of support available in the local community.
Music4Wellbeing workshops was started in 2017, as a peer to peer group aiming to empower individuals through the untapped power of music. Our once a month meetings vary in size but never in enthusiasm and passion! You don't have to be someone who has been attending to take part just turn up on the day and read your poem, take us through your spoken word, dance, sing a song with or without accompaniment or play an instrument. whatever you want to do, it's up to you. Music4Wellbeing is looking to reach out to the community and let them know that there is a group here to help who is backed by Rethink Mental Illness.
