Music 4 Wellbeing has been in operation since 2017 and we offer a unique opportunity for carers and people with lived experience of mental health to explore feelings through music. We are a peer led support group that believes in the promotion of mental wellbeing through discussions and the outlet of playing music. You don't have to be a musician to enjoy the group. Just show up and have fun.
Music 4 Wellbeing started in 2017. Our once a month meetings vary in size but never in enthusiasm and passion! You don't have to be someone who has been attending to take part just turn up on the day and become part of a great support group where you are encouraged to understand song lyrics, play a percussion instrument, sing, talk or listen. Whatever you want to do, as a peer led group it's up to you. So, join us and be part of Music 4 Wellbeing and together let’s reach out to our community and let them know that there is a great support group in the heart of Chatham, backed by Rethink Mental Illness.
