The Trihealthlon: Give It Up, Take It Up or Change It Up.

We are always thinking of new ways you can get involved with our fundraising, and this year we are launching the Trihealthlon! You can help raise money for us by either Giving It Up, Taking It Up or Switching It Up. Below, Jemima, from our fundraising team, tells us how it all works.
I am very lucky to be a part of the fabulous fundraising team here at Rethink Mental Illness. At the start of this month we launched our Trihealthlon campaign. Everybody has joined in and are taking their personal challenges very seriously!
Myself and the Associate Director for Fundraising, Emma, decided we would ‘Give It Up’ for the Trihealthlon and for the rest of January will be swerving crisps, chocolate and biscuits. So far, we have managed to deal with this by pre-planning our fruit snacks, and just generally eating healthier.
Fiona, our Individual Giving Fundraising Manager, is also going to ‘Give It Up’ and won’t be eating anything with refined sugar in for the duration of January. This is proving very challenging! Did you know that even bread has sugar in it?!
Bernice, our Fundraising Officer has decided to ‘Take It Up’ by having 3 early nights a week and Grace, our Trusts and Grants Fundraising Officer is going to ‘Change It Up’ by walking up and down the 16 flights of stairs to work instead of taking the lift each day.
We wanted to create a fundraising challenge that was good for you and may have a positive impact on the way you lead your life - that's why we launched Trihealthlon! It doesn't have to be a big change, but doing one thing, no matter how small, to live a healither life is never a bad thing.
