Prison can be a very daunting place for anyone, being away from friends and family and not knowing what to expect. It is also a difficult time for your carers, relatives or friends who may be supporting you in prison. There are sources of help and support for you and your loved ones.
- There are lots of different departments and staff in a prison.
- They can help you with any problems.
- There are things that you can do to make the most of your time in prison, such as gaining qualifications.
- Family and friends can visit you and they may be able to get financial help with this, such as travel expenses.
