Reroute - Young South Asian Support Group
Open to: People with Mental Illness
We are dedicated to young South Asian women in their 20's and 30's who are suffering with any type of mental health condition.
This is a safe, open and most importantly non-judgemental space for us like-minded individuals to get together and discuss what's on our mind - we celebrate the good, share the bad and emphasise with everything in between.
We don't have all the answers but we do know good mental health is a journey, one that will only move forward once we start talking about how we really feel.
Come along and be part of the change!
Our Other Activities
-
Mental Wealth - a mental health and wellbeing Peer Support Group for South Asian women aged 30-60
(Group Co-ordinator - Jennal Amin) We provide a safe and confidential space to start challenging the stigmas and taboos faced by South Asian Communities by empowering and encouraging people to come together and creating an open dialogue on mental health. This group provides a platform to learn from each other by sharing our own stories and experiences and knowing that we are not alone. We foster connectedness and Community and through conversations we are changing the ways in which we see and and feel about mental health. So come along and join us on this journey.
