Our Derby Rethink group has been meeting for many years and provides a range of opportunities for members. We meet weekly in an informal setting to offer support through mutual understanding of shared experiences. We are active in raising awareness of mental health in the local community. We also campaign and fundraise to raise money for the group and promote Rethink as a charity. We support each other and welcome new members through a buddying system. Meetings are relaxed and supportive, and members are able to stay as little or long as they are comfortable with. New members are keenly invited to attend with no referral necessary.

We never put pressure on anyone to share how they’re doing. We just offer the space for people to do so freely and without judgement, so our members feel less isolated and more supported. We have strong links with OCD Action, which helps us keep up-to-date with additional help and support that's available to our members, including events focusing on OCD.
