Highlights from November’s National Members Day in Birmingham
This year’s Members day was our best yet, combining inspiring speakers and dedicated award winners with the opportunity to meet staff and supporters from around the country.
This was our first Members’ Day since Philippa Lowe was appointed as our New Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Highlights from the day included well-received sessions from our speakers Jacqui Dyer and Professor Barbara Sahakian.
Our annual awards ceremony was a touching celebration of the achievements our members and campaigners are making in mental health.
With a special thanks to Harrow group ‘More than Just a Choir’ for their rousing singing in the morning and for closing the day with ‘we do better (when we come together), an emotional and appropriate summary of the day.
Thank you to everyone attended, and we look forward to seeing you in London next year!
We’ve put together a short video to share highlights of the day – watch now
