I have a question...
Important fundraising stuff
If you've made a donation or you're fundraising for us, this information is good to know!
Do you want your donations to Rethink Mental Illness to be worth 25% more?
If you're a UK Taxpayer, Gift Aid can increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you. The Inland Revenue treat donations to Rethink Mental Illness as if the donor has already had tax deducted at the basic rate. We can then claim this tax to increase the value of the donation.
If you’d like us to claim Gift Aid on your donation, email us at email@example.com to request the form. We can backdate the claims for four years, so it is always worth signing the declaration saying you are a UK taxpayer.
Please contact us if you want to collect money for Rethink Mental Illness. There are strict guidelines to collecting in public, including having to get a permit from the local authority or police. You will also have to get a certificate and follow our guidelines to hold a private collection as well.
The Fundraising Standards Board
The Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) works to ensure that organisations raising money from the public do so honestly and properly, and adhere to the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Fundraising Practice.
Rethink Mental llness is one of many large charities who have joined the FRSB and we are proud to be a member. To find out more about what this means to you, visit the Fundraising Standards Board's website for the public.
Rethink Mental llness is keen to ensure any complaints are promptly and fairly handled. For further details, you can read our:
