BE PART OF OUR GREAT NORTH RUN TEAM!
We had a full team taking part in 2017 in the most exciting and biggest half marathon in the world and we are proud of every single one of them.
A HUGE Thank you to all our Great North Run #RunRethink team in 2017! You were amazing!
Anthony was part of the team this year and said:
The Great North Run was definitely a feeling I'll never forget! I found the run to be challenging, but the thrill of finishing, knowing not only that you've made it, but also helped to support a cause that provide an immense level of support to those living with mental illness, was truly unforgettable.
If you want to be a part of the team in 2018, we want to hear from you now.
Let us know if you have been inspired by our Great North Runners in 2017 and want to join us in 2018.

We'll also tell you that you're awesome for raising money for people affected by mental illness.
Ceri ran the Great North Run as part of the Rethink Mental Illness Team in 2016 and said:
I won't lie - the run was the hardest physical thing I have ever done but then I realised the amount we'd raised and I was so happy about that! I chose Rethink Mental Illness to raise more awareness for mental illness. My brother's best friend sadly took his own life, at the age of 17, due to depression. He suffered in silence which is the most agonising thing to come to terms with. A huge thank you to everybody who supported me in the run up to the half marathon!
In 2018 you can be part of our cheering team as well. Let us know if you want to join in the fun bringing our team of runners over the line by emailing us.
