AJ Bell London Triathlon
MASSIVE thank you to all of our team in 2017's AJ Bell London Triathlon! You were amazing and raised over £6,500 supporting Rethink Mental Illness. This will make a huge difference to the people we support and our services such as our Advice and Information Service!
Sarah (pictured above) took part and said:
This was my first ever triathlon! The day was an incredible experience and everyone was so friendly. I would recommend it to anyone. I chose Rethink Mental Illness because i believe in everything they stand for, i was proud to raise money and represent them on the day.
Do you want to call yourself a triathlete AND support people with mental illness by joining our team in 2018? Well let us know straight away!
In case you don't know what's involved in a triathlon, I should probably tell you that this physical challenge definitely requires some training.
Only after SWIMMING, CYCLING and RUNNING can you cross the finish line and claim your champion medal.
But don't worry there are three levels of difficulty to choose from
SuperSprint (400m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run)
Sprint (750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run)
Olympic distance (1500m swim, 40km cycle, 10km run)
In return expect to receive:
- lots of training and fundraising advice
- a free running/cycling top
- We will provide information and support in the run up to your event
- Have a look at our top tips page to get your fundraising started
