AJ Bell London Triathlon
The 2017 AJ Bell London Triathlon - do you want to call yourself a triathlete AND support people with mental illness? Really, that's superhero status!
In case you don't know what's involved in a triathlon, I should probably tell you that this physical challenge definitely requires some training.
Only after SWIMMING, CYCLING and RUNNING can you cross the finish line and claim your champion medal.
But don't worry there are three levels of difficulty to choose from
- SuperSprint (400m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run)
- Sprint (750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run)
- Olympic distance (1500m swim, 40km cycle, 10km run)
Sarah Osborne took part in her first triathlon for us in 2013 and she told us:
I really loved the triathlon and would recommend it to anyone! It was a big challenge for me as I couldn’t swim, hadn’t got a bike or cycled in years. I had swimming lessons and trained hard, my friend gave me a bike, which helped. I enjoyed every minute of it and completed it in just over 2 hours. I was really surprised and pleased with my time!
