How we can support you
We will support your company to help us bring hope to more people and carers affected by mental illness.
Expertise – we have a wealth of knowledge regarding mental health issues in the UK and can provide advice on a wide range of issues from mental heath services to mental health policy, employment and finances.
Information - we have 100 factsheets on topics ranging from understanding and responding to symptoms of mental illnesses to the Mental Health Act. This information is created by the experts who work on our Advice Service. Our factsheets have achieved the Information Standard for their clarity and simplicity.
Brand exposure – we have a large web and social media audience (Facebook 275,000 likes, Twitter 150k followers) and we can work with you to reach them with information about a partnership
Positive brand association – by working with us, you would help us deliver over 200 local and national mental health services right across England.
Training for your staff – we can run bespoke, workplace-specific training on a number of issues affecting your staff and customers, including Mental Health First Aid, and Mental Health Awareness for Managers.
Dedicated account management – our fundraising team has experience of working with organisations as diverse as multinationals and much smaller organisations. We can put together a plan of activities specific to your requirements, and support you to deliver it successfully.
Events - we have a wide range of events you and your staff can take part in, providing team building opportunities as well as the chance to compete in sporting challenges.
Donating gifts-in-kind – this is another way you can contribute to our life-changing work, whether you are able to donate products that would help in our crisis and recovery houses, office equipment, or prizes for raffles or auctions.
Volunteering – through our network of services and support groups, we can offer volunteering opportunities to national partners.
Advice – In 2016, our Advice Service won the Helplines Partnership’s Helpline of the Year award. The service is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4pm, and can help you as an employer or an employee with practical support, for example to support someone who is experiencing a mental health problem at work or someone who is returning to work after time away because of mental illness. UK-wide project support – through Rethink Mental Illness’ membership of Mental Health UK, we work with our sister organisations in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland to support UK-wide corporate partnerships
