Volunteer to write a blog

Be a blogger...

Are you aged from 14-25? Do you like writing? Have you ever considered keeping a blog?  If you'd like to share how you feel, pass on well-being tips and keep us up to date with your day to day experiences, we'd like to hear from you! Blogs are a great way to not only get things off your chest, but also to help others out by letting them know they're not alone, or by offering advice.

If you have experience of anxiety, depression or other mental health problems - personally, or as a sibling or close friend of someone who has - and would like to keep a regular blog with us - please get in touch.

Blog entries could be about a variety of topics, for example, dealing with exams or student life, friendships and family, what acitivities you do to help you feel good, or advice you could offer others when they're finding life hard.

You don’t have to give your real name or photo when writing a blog and you can keep details general so that you won’t be recognised.

To volunteer to write a blog for Rethink, we'd like you to commit to writing four blog entries.  It’s usually good to keep momentum going with blog entries so ideally your blog entry should appear at least every three weeks (though if you have a lot to say, it can be more often). Each blog entry should be a maximum of 1,000 words and you also need to provide us with an author profile. Blog entries will be moderated and possibly edited, with your agreement, before being posted onto the Rethink website.

If you would like to volunteer to write a blog for Rethink or would like to talk about it further please email us at online.team@rethink.org it would be great to hear from you.
