I think i'm getting arthritus, may be the raised prolactin levels due to meds, asked the gp to measure prolkactin levels he said they were up

Phoned gp thur, they said i could see him at 11 emergency appt, i turned up at 20 to they said there were 4 in front of me, i heard him call people then at 11 they said there were still 4 in front, with my extreme social anxiety i can't handle crowded surgerys so i went home

May try speaking to nhs direct but i know what to expect when they find out i'm a loony without a carer

I might make another appt but even when i make the first appt of the afternoon, it appears when the time arrives that theres people in front of me

I do think my gp could make allowances

Could be the beginning of a heart attack or angina. You should have a phone number handy for a ambulance and if the pain becomes acute, or you get chest pains or sudden indigestion, don't waste a moment with doubts. Early treatment will save your life, it did mine, but a third of first time heart attacks are fatal...a third put of that call.

GP,S are always running late, very rare you get straight in . why didnt you wait outside till your turn . They made allowances you got an emergency appointment pretty rare unless your haveing a heart attack
Posted ImageThink you didnt hang round to see a doc, how do you think that looks on your record, someone else could have had your appointment. if you have an anxierty attack where else is better to be than a doctors surgery. I have had the odd one at a gps , its amazeing how you move up the queue .Posted Image

i think those drs addicted me to these drugs, they've got to take responsibility with side effects, they labelled me as well, they have to take responsibility for the consequences. i know theres a recession

Having an anxiety attack doesn't advance you in this inner city drs queue. i hope it's not my heart but even if it is i can't get seen earlier than my mental health problems allow

I am aware doctors never take responsibility when things don't work out, it's push people under the carpet

I can understand where you are coming from, as I have severe social anxiety too, but if I need to see the doctor it is something I have to do, I would not walk out as I know that appointment could of been used by someone else.

Like someone else said you could of waited outside, just tell the receptionist and they will come and get you.

In our surgery there is a private waiting room, maybe enquire in your surgery, see if there is something like that, might be really helpful for you. I usually turn up just on time and blame it on parking, make sure I have some lavender on my temples and keep my breathing under control. Keep your mind busy while in the surgery by focusing on certain things, make up games if you have too, eg. make up stories for people, count the amount of things you can see, or simply count to ten repeatedly, if you need some air just tell the receptionist. You can have something to play with in your hand too, whether that be a tissue, a bottle or some little trinket.

Good luck with the doctor, and I hope you manage to sort it out. Living with pain is terrible, I am there now and the doctors still don't know what is wrong and that makes it suck ten times worse.

Move to the country. If it is your heart the country air and slower pace of life is what you need.

Posted Imageask for a house call, , innercity have the same full surgeries as any surgery across the country now days with immigrant. an time wasters. Your shoulder injury you will be given paracetamol, you didnt receive it in a accident so the doctor will be clueless an blaim it on your meds, which i may well be.
Posted Image what do you want him to do , he may send you for an xray , then you wait in a big que at the hospital , then back again to the docs.My meds give me aches an pains all over my body, its side effect from the meds, so take ibrufrin tabs or stop your meds an go nuts your call.
