I've had twitching eyes, (predominantly the left one) for two weeks now - I think it's due to stress and lack of sleep. I've had it before and it's gone away of it's own accord but rarely for this long.
I am trying to be more honest and open about my own mental health in order to help others with their mental health because for me the stigma and prejudice of having the illness is worse than the illness itself!
That's why I took the PLEDGE to help end Mental Health Discrimination!

Hi Earthling, Ive had a couple of tics eyes and hands in the past but in my case think it was down to haloperidal, as when it stopped so did the tics (cant be sure though). All the best - Scott

I can only tell you that I remember my Brother mentioning his eye twitching, it was upsetting and annoying him. Looking back I think it was his meds. Also he was getting very little sleep, that may not have helped.

I live in my own little world. But it's OK, everyone knows me here.

My eye twitch (right eye) started when I was taking anti-psychotic medication and even though I have stopped the medication the twitch is still there.

I have noticed that when the voices are bad the twitch gets worse, meaning I can't hide my symptoms.

Have you mentioned this to anyone?
