I'm new to the site but drew great comfort from hearing of others who are also having to cope with the enduring nightmare which is the result of having a loved one with a severe mental illness. It can be so very isolating, trying to help a sibling who appears to be in great distress but believes that you are the enemy. Recently, I had begun to feel completely hopeless. After almost a decade I felt, for the first time, that perhaps things would never improve. However, today I read something in the paper which has given me a glimmer of hope again and I thought I would share it with you.

Have they discovered a biological test for it yet? That would help before going after a cure.
