really bad day today, went to doctors. felt I was being cut adrift and pushed to crisis team.
since I trust my doctor so much I feel a bit rejected, I know it’s there job to assess and direct you to appropriate
care .But I do not no these people, and do not no if I want to. I think my mental health is getting worse,
more erratic, becoming more reclusive and just do not want to eat. I think it is a form of self arm.
I think I just want to end my turmoil , I can be so up one day and suicidal the next, I get in such a tizzy over the smallest things sometimes to the point of exploding. I do not want this crap anymore . it just seems the easiest way out is one massive overdose. I do not think I can cope with the system, the appointment’s ,assessment’s evaluation’s it’s all such grief which I do not need . but can I let my family down

Hello Jeffrey,

saw this post from you and thought I must try to answer it. Just in case no one else is online, didn't want you to feel ignored.

I wonder if it would help if you told your doctor how you feel just as you have here.

You mention you don't want to eat, but your body needs food, not loads but just enough good food to keep it working. A car doesn't run on water or fresh air. If you get weak and run down you will not feel strong enough to cope with anything and that will make you feel worse.

Plese think about it, best to talk to someone just as you have done here. You may feel relieved when you have. A problem shared.....

I live in my own little world. But it's OK, everyone knows me here.

I think your better talk to your local doctor to see what they can do for you. or talk to a crisis team.

Hi Jeffrey,

Please, say what you've said here to the crisis team, GP or whoever you can have contact with today - give them a chance.

Maybe even show them, or someone, what you wrote here.

I think sometimes it's easier to write than speak - if you feel like that, maybe show them this, or write a statement.

Please talk to someone before you do anything else about how you feel. If you feel really vulnerable, here's a list of crisis contacts on the Rethink website, part of our Coping in a Crisis section.

Absolutely agree there. If you don't eat your sugar level will be low and that will affect your mood severly. You get endorphins from certain foods such as fish and dark chocolate. Don't deny yourself food. It's one of life's pleasures and will probably make you feel better.
