About Rethink Siblings
Why has Rethink Siblings been set up?
Over the years, Rethink members have asked Rethink to provide more specific support and information for siblings as our needs and questions are different to other family members. Recently we did a survey of our members and non-members and the feedback was that siblings wanted and needed their own community and support. Find out more about the siblings survey.
Who is Rethink Siblings for?
Rethink Siblings is for anyone whose brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, stepbrother or stepsister has severe mental illness. It is also for parents who wish to find out information to help support their other children in understanding and coping with their sibling’s mental illness.
