Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services are being introduced across the country and Rethink Mental Illness is involved in the delivery of these in a number of regions. Comprehensive clinical outcome measures are routinely collected to monitor the impact of the service on the people using the services. In addition to this, the Rethink Mental Illness Research team is in the Leicestershire County & Rutland PCMH/ IAPT service providing a supplementary evaluation of patient and stakeholder experiences and views, drawing on our internally developed service user satisfaction tools and collecting in-depth data from patients and GPs who are the main referrers.
