Emily Ainsworth

Emily works on Rethink Mental Illness’s 'The People Study' research project, covering sites in South England. She has a background in Social Anthropology, has worked on a range of international research and documentary projects, and has extensive experience of participant observation. In Mexico she charted Mixtec and Zapotec cosmological systems, as well as creating an ethnographic account of the nation’s circus culture. In Mongolia she investigated nomadic involvement in the nation’s transition to democracy.
