Chris recently joined the Research Team as a senior research officer, and is leading our study of community health networks. His work has focused on the empowerment, social inclusion, employment, lifelong learning and mental health promotion for mental health service users. He has experience in working on two Europe-wide mental health projects, in Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service and teaching at university undergraduate level. His PhD focused on Antonovsky’s sense of coherence theory which involves the concepts of resilience and meaningfulness.
