Service news and events

We have been holding a number of information sessions, open to health and social care professionals and the general public.

The sessions aim  to introduce this new floating support service, give people the opportunity to meet the team and explain what the service can offer and how to access it.

On 6th December 2007 Rethink staff attended a Dementia conference in Taunton which had some excellent speakers and workshops.

We were pleased to be asked by Somerset County Council to host a stand at this event which gave staff an opportunity to promote both Rethink and our new Reconnect Floating Support Service.  It also gave us the opportunity to make contact with a broad range of other professionals and organisations who we hope to work with to improve our support to individuals with dementia and their carers.
