Description

Central Point is a HLDC in Portsmouth. The service provides:
- A recovery programme that incorporates all aspects of homelessness.
- Advice on benefits, housing, drink/drug matters.
- Training on budgeting/life skills.
- Rent deposit scheme and access to local accommodation.
- Outreach.
- Client contact and assessment.
- A GP surgery, laundry facilities and service user training.

In addition, Central Point is a co-ordinating centre for local street counts and information gathering, as well as a supply depot for 'Big Issue'.

Central Point also provides placements for Portsmouth University social work students.
