Cambridge campaign

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust has been working with Time to Change to run their own local campaign which aims to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health by raising awareness of how common mental health problems are, giving people the facts and letting people know there's something they can do to help.

In October 2008, we worked with CPFT to run a month long campaign in Cambridge, which included advertising at various locations around the city, as well as a five-a-side football tournament. Since this successful campaign, CPFT were also one of the 8 local trusts or organisations that we selected to host a Time to Change Roadshow, which took place in October 2009 at Serpentine Green shopping centre, Peterborough. They also organised a week full of fun physical activity for mental health service users and the general public as part of Get Moving week which ran from 3-10 October 2009.
