Write a brief

If you want other people to get involved in your campaign, write a document stating your argument, using any information you have obtained, and give information about how they can help.

Briefing Paper January 2006This will show you're serious about change and that you're informed.

  • You could send this document to 'decision-makers' with a letter asking for change.
  • You could give it to people in your community such as your local carers goup. Make sure people are aware of any consultations they can contribute to.
  • If you ask people to contact you, it will give you an idea of how many people feel they will be affected; this can then be used in your argument.
