Reasonable adjustments at work - 'Employment Toolkit' project

 

Rethink Mental Illness has produced two line manager guides about supporting people with a mental illness at work. These guides are for:

  • Local authorities (e.g. county councils)
  • Civil services (central government departments)

We are also producing a guide for people with a mental health condition about their rights at work in Spring 2010.

The guides will help people with severe mental illness to get the reasonable adjustments that they are legally entitled to under the Disabilty Discrimination Act.
