Wellbeing at Work: Action Planning to Stay Well in the Workplace
Developed originally by Mary Ellen Copeland, WRAP is a tool for managing your own mental health, both in the workplace and in personal life. Suitable for anybody, but perhaps particularly relevant for people with experience of mental health issues, this course allows you to take control of your wellbeing. WRAP can be a useful tool for communicating with employers and with key people in your life about your mental health.
This course can be run either as a three hour introduction or as a whole day’s workshop, where participants can come away with a completed WRAP. The course covers:
- Building a wellness toolbox
- Daily maintenance plan for good mental health
- Thinking about reasonable adjustments at work
- Triggers and early warning signs
- Crisis action planning
- Towards recovery – post crisis action planning and return to work
