Get involved

Even if you don’t want to run your own local campaigns for a while, you can remain involved in Rethink’s campaigns.

We are a highly effective campaigning and lobbying force and our voice commands respect from health professionals, government and the media. We work with the Government as an independent voice for all those affected by severe mental illness while campaigning on a wide range of issues to keep mental health at the top of the political agenda.

We are committed to bringing about change across mental health and social care and actively campaign for better quality services and support for both service users and carers as well as for breakthroughs in prevention, treatment and care.

The people who use our services and their carers are at the heart of all our campaigns. Together we have achieved a track record to be proud of. And we know that the more we raise the profile of severe mental illness by continuing to campaign, the greater the chance will be for those affected by it to recover a better quality of life.

If you have access to email, become an e-campaigner. This means sending 1 or 2 emails per month to decision-makers about key mental health issues. We write some standardised text – you decide if you want to add it, press ‘send’ and hey presto you’ve participated in an e-campaign. To become an e-campaigner, send an email entitled ‘become e-campaigner’ to Rethink Campaigns.

Participate in our latest e-campaign!
