Rethink election petition final count is 12,024!
Thanks to everyone who has signed Rethink’s petition to demand a Government that cares about mental illness. As the country went to the polls, our activists pulled out all the stops to ensure we reached our target just as the General Election results started coming in!
In the run up to the election Rethink activists met parliamentary candidates from Bury to Bournemouth and everywhere in between, to make sure they understand that mental health matters. Now 12,024 more have added their voices to the campaign and the Government needs to act. Read more about the changes that Rethink are asking here: Rethink's General Election 2010 Manifesto (1075 kb)
.
The petition has now been handed to Downing Street.
