Recovery
In his book, Recovery from Schizophrenia: psychiatry and political economy (1985), Richard Warner differentiated between:
- complete recovery, which is a loss of psychotic symptoms and return to the pre-illness level of functioning, and
- social recovery, which means recovering to achieve economic and residential independence and a life with low social disruption.
