Experience this trip between two of Europe's most popular cities along one of the best cycling routes in Europe. Starting in London you will cycle through beautiful English villages into rural France, passing historic landmarks and rolling pastoral scenes on your way to Paris. Your efforts will be rewarded with some time to spend in this beautiful city, and then a luxurious train ride home!

As an added bonus - the next available dates for this event mean you will arrive in Paris on Bastille Day - a national holiday when the city will be alive with celebrations!

To take part in this exciting event, you need to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £1350. The Events team will be on hand to help you raise this amount, and experience a trip of a lifetime. We'll give you training tips, motivational support and fundraising advice, as well as a free t-shirt!

Stuart, Mike and Steve cycled from London to Paris in aid of Rethink Mental Illness in May and raised £10,000 between them. They chose to support the charity because Steve's brother, David, suffered from schizophrenia for 18 years before sadly taking his own life in 2008.

Steve told us: “There were all abilities on the cycle including a 72 year old gentleman, two gents on a tandem, one of whom was blind, as well as people from all other walks of life and everyone completed it. There were those that had only started cycling for the challenge to the more club cyclist. I myself hadn’t ridden for 15 years and our first training session was 3 miles to the pub!  It was hard but massively rewarding when you see the Eiffel Tower in Paris!”
