The Big Quiz 2007
Celebrities and big city firms all gathered to take part in the West End fundraiser The Big Quiz for Rethink on Wednesday 17th October hosted by the nation’s favourite TV presenter, Des Lynam.
Voted by viewers the Top Television Presenter on the BBC’s 60th anniversary, the suave Mr Lynam deployed all his unique charisma and presenting skills in a series of rounds based on classic TV gameshows. We managed to raise over £10,000 from the 200 people that took part in the glitzy prize auction and raffle.
Prizes included the charter of a private yacht, a balloon flight and a year’s supply of Cobra beer supplied by company founder and chief executive Lord Biliamoria.
The money will go towards supporting our National Advice Service and the life saving work they carry out every day.
