The Rethink celebrity quiz

This spectacular event was organised to raise much needed funds for the development of Rethink’s anti-discrimination work. It was a culmination of a years work for rethink and involved the dedication and commitment of our sponsors Morgan Brookes and a number of key supporters, including our chair and his wife Mr & Mrs Robert Banner, Mr Richard Freeman and Mr James Farrell.
To put the celebrity in to the Rethink Celebrity Quiz we were pleased to welcome a number of stars to the event including our host for the evening, respected broadcaster, Angela Rippon, stunning model Melinda Messenger and well known actress Verona Joseph. To show their support for the evening Angela Rippon and Melinda Messenger said the following -“I am happy to be supporting Rethink by hosting this wonderful event. Throughout the evening the guests were spoiled at every turn and were treated to a champagne reception, a sumptuous three-course meal, the interactive Rethink Quiz and the highly successful auction that raised over £5000.Rethink is committed to raising the profile of mental health issues in the UK in a positive way. Working together with commercial organisations at events like the Rethink Quiz can help break down barriers and challenge the prejudice, ignorance and fear that still surrounds severe mental illness.
