Mark Davies' blog

 Mark Davies joined Rethink as Director of Communications in July 2010.

Between 2005 and 2010 he was special adviser to the Rt Hon Jack Straw MP as Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary, Leader of the House of Commons and Secretary of State for Justice. He advised Mr Straw on a range of issues including communications and criminal justice policy and played a role in the creation of the Bradley Review.

Prior to working for Mr Straw, he was special adviser to Baroness Amos as Leader of the House of Lords.

He joined Baroness Amos after 13 years as a reporter and editor with the BBC, CNN and the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo.
