My name is Chloe and I am 34. I work as a management consultant, a career which takes me away from home a lot and unfortunately leaves little time for hobbies.

However, I do love music (especially live music!) catching up with my friends, and I try to fit in a bit of exercise; military boot camps are my latest thing. I also love to travel, and have been fortunate to travel to many far flung places, including India, Australia, Indonesia, and America. I only have one sibling, my brother Alex. He went to university at 18 and suffered a mental breakdown, experiencing severe psychosis and resulting in schizophrenia and bipolar. He is now 36 and due to the severity of his illness he lives in residential care.

Due to my involvement with Rethink Siblings I have been thinking a lot about the past, when my brother became ill. I felt that I needed to remember him in a good way - needed a reminder of what he was like before he became ill. I was also curious to understand whether his friends were aware of what was happening at that time...
