With the help of Lithium, I’m more stable than I was a year ago, and I’ve recently completed 16 weeks of NHS-funded psychotherapy. I’m studying for a degree with the Open University and am in the process of writing a semi-autobiographical novel based on my Bipolar Roller-coaster.
My Bipolar journey began properly eleven years ago, when I was fifteen; I was twenty-two before I had any contact with mental health services. Through this blog, I hope to share some of my experiences of mental illness, in the hope that by talking about what happened to me, I can help others, and their families, who are going through similar experiences.
