The Early Psychosis Declaration
The Early Psychosis Declaration (EPD) is an International Consensus Statement about Early Intervention and Recovery for young people, jointly issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Early Psychosis Declaration (IEPA), May 2004.
The Early Psychosis Declaration is a vision for the future and being a founder member of the declaration I hoped the leaflet would be a way of sharing that vision in order to encourage anyone who picks it up to take action.

The declaration sets out 5 key objectives for action to provide much needed support for young people who develop psychosis, to enable access to quality mental health services and social intervention initiatives at the early stages, to make a lasting difference to the lives of young people with psychosis their families and carers.
